Seaman Demon
WantSomeGetSome Sports Fishing Company requested an encouraging and comedic, yet suggestive alternative logo to use and showcase when at sea.
UrbanLang Corporations
Originally starting off as Jaroush Productions, UrbanLang Corporations, a Production Studio based in Northern California needed a Logo and business cards for their new company. After several alterations as seen in the attached PDF and working back and forth with the studio for a couple of weeks they finally decided to take a more simple and direct approach.
DTI Labels
Diverse Technology Industrial was bringing back their own curated epoxy line and needed labels that fit with their brand. I was lucky enough to provide them with a line that fit with their brand aesthetic and was still clear and discernable.
Diverse Business
Working with Diverse Technology Industrial was a pleasure, as they opened up their new Service Center and needed a similar way to represent who they were. With no clear direction on where to go, I provided multiple different variations of the logo, and alterations which took months. We eventually decided on the name Diverse Business; Equipment & Fleet Services, as well as the final look and logo you see in front of you.
Davis Political Review (DPR)
As the new Director of Design I made the bold decision to create and redesign the entire brand of what was DPR. Going from a mix of Oranges, greens, whites and blues, to a set finalized cohesive beige and purple that made sense with the political direction and new aspiration of the organization that was once dead. I am proud to have brought it back to life again, which you will see examples of redesigning in other sections of my portfolio.
Hung Liu
Upon hearing of the passing of Hung Liu in the summer of 2021, I decided to create a memorial poster for her. Learning of the artist's passing was heartbreaking as she inspired my work tremendously. After thorough research, I honored her by emulating the paintings she made with the drip oil technique and the old paper feel, even using the infamous circles she used. In the right-hand corner is the original picture I used taken by Jessica Christen when Hung Liu was featured in the SF Chronicle in 2019. My piece is created in Adobe Photoshop. It is an 18x24" poster. This work has been featured in the Open Ceilings summer 2022 magazine "Lemonade" (left), where I showcased the artwork in front of a large audience.
Baldwin
Rest in Peace Mr. Baldwin. A colleague of mine's brother passed away earlier this year in 2024 and I assisted him by photoshopping this piece to his specifications that would be displayed on the memorial hoodie to be distributed to close family members.
